I have a sissy bar/luggage rack bag on my bike that slips over the pad. Most of the bikes with the bobtail rear fender like the Wide Glides use the shorter "Mini" sissy bar upright. Does anyone know if there are bags that slip over these, or since the pad is so short, do you need a bag that can be strapped to a bobtail fender rack?

I have a bag like what you're talking about. Slips over the sissy bar, but also has 2 straps on the bottom. I just cross them at the side plates and hook them in. Doesn't shift at all. If you've got a slip-over type with no straps, I would at least put a bungee cord across it. I hate stopping for something that fell off.

And what's even worse is not stopping for something that fell off cause you didn't know it fell off, and not finding out 'til 50 miles later, and having no idea where it fell off.

Yeah, like 2 brand new leather jackets!!! (Don't ask me how I know this) Luckily, a nice lady saw the jackets fall out and knew the couple on the bike and returned the jackets to them. I, I mean, the couple, now has a nice bag that slips over the sissybar with straps that holds everything all secure.

Like my exhaust hanger Sunday. I know what I'm doing this weekend.

I got mine though bikers choice for about 100 not leather but has three velcrove staps that go around sissybar and hooks for a few bungee cords and a bungee cord type net that you can use for things like t shirts from rallys
