Where do you find replacement pulleys for AIH bikes now...besides ebay? Mine is worn to a nice sharp edge!! I still want the design to match the wheel and brakes. Mine are spinnaker style.

Ironhorse made alot of their own wheels and pulleys I think RC Wheels made some too. Alot of earlier (MID 2006 and under) inventory was sold or auctioned off for AIH bankruptcy
Dont know if the remaining dealers have much. AIH website is not very helpful.

Hey RMIST, you must ride the crap out if that thing, your saying the drive pully on the rear wheel is worn? How many miles on it?

Not really, just became a new owner of it. It had 8000 miles on the beach. It is worn out thu. The lugs are sharp and narrowed. My wide glide I did ride the crap out of and it had 340 thou on it, went thru 2 pulleys. This Outlaw must have been abused a little. Brakes are shot as well !! The belt is fine, must have been replaced. It runs great in every other way. It has a BAKER 6 in it as well, a great thing !!

I did try to put a pic w/this. I had failed attempts...givin up 4 now.

You can also resize with MS paint or just use photobucket to host them.

Swifty...thanx for the link...I called Phil at supermax.net
They have just a few day turn around and will not spin off the pulley due it being double set screwed to the pulley. I think this is the best thing I've seen so far for keeping the matchin pulley with the bike !!

Has anyone tried one of these yet ??
Thanx again

With shipping back to me total labor and parts will be $565.00. If you do it prior to Nov 1st after that it's goin up 65-70 bucs more. Figure a new pulley (if you can find one) would be bout 3 bills, I would say it's not a bad deal to get 100 thou miles out of a pulley that still matches your your wheels.

And that's a REBUILDABLE pulley, that probably won't cost near that much if you need a redo down the road .....

That should be a true statement Alanomad... Since once they machine off the old teeth all they would have to do is remove set screws and replace. I think I'm going to do it since mine is really shot !!

No man, I was told a long time ago by a reliable source that these pulleys would wear out. AIH made these but didn't use the right material. It bitch replacinf as each pulley matches your wheel set

Not sure what you mean by this.....the pulley is matching to my wheels and rotor carriers. You get the same pulley back you send just with a new set of teeth on it.

my reply was to NY Outlaw who indicatied you beat up your pully teeth I was told the metal is weak and wears prematurly therfore wearing out the pully I think you got a good deal here you better get your original back.

I had the same problem recently. I found out the pulleys are made of a soft aluminum and the belt eats the pulley in return the pulley eats the belt. I have 15k on mine.looking into it now but seems like if you find a pulley you will have the same problem down the line

How did your pulley turn out???:D

The pulley is AWSOME !!! It has set screws and glued so it won't spin off. I have tried doing small burn-outs. High speed as well...it's great !! I reccomend to all if you have this problem.
