Napster is stealing my money dammit. Its too easy to click Buy Now! LOL I was on there last nite, just previewing songs and listening to the 30 second snippets and after all was said and done I had clicked Buy Now for about 25 of them at 99 cents a pop. Doh!
Oh well, I have lots more music for my MP3 player to listen to on the bike :D

Kath, try http://www.Giganews.com News groups with Millions of songs, especially in the MP3 group. Much cheaper than Napster. At 99 Cents a pop I'd buy the whole CD's. Ouch!!! I'd pay maybe 50 cents. TOPS!!! What kind of MP3 player do you have anyway?

Hey guys and Gals what type of MP3 player do you have? My wife is thinking she needs one now and I don't know where to start. Do we start out cheap? Or go for it out of the gate? She was looking at ones where you can store 10,000 songs and pictures to boot. Plus it can download pictures from your digital camera. I need some help. I am thinking start small and see how she likes it etc before dropping $ 300+ for one of those.

OK, I have a Rave MP one....its really cute cuz its red and matches my bike ;) It doesn't have the ton of memory that say an IPod has but I don't care....its holds like several hours of music and I've found that's plenty enough for me. It was about $80 or thereabouts. I also have this little wireless thing that hooks to it and transmits the signal to my stereo in the truck so I can listen to MP3s while I'm driving. Then Joe and I just got MotoComm units to talk to each other on the bikes and the MP3 player hooks to that too so I can listen to the music through speakers that hook in my helmet. The Motocomm is cool because when he talks to me via the 2-way radio, the music automatically turns down and the 2-way radio transmissions overrides it! :)

The Ipod now makes a smaller version. It's called the "Shuffle". Sell here for about $99 + tax. Just bought one for a gift for someone.
